Brian N. DiGiacomo joined the law firm of Chiarolanza & DeAngelis
as an associate in 2015. Prior to becoming associated with the firm, he served as Special Deputy Attorney General and as an Assistant Morris County Prosecutor from 2003-2015. Mr. DiGiacomo has experience in all aspects of criminal law and is an experienced trial attorney.
Mr. DiGiacomo was previously assigned to the Major Crimes Unit of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. For the past 12 years, he prosecuted cases involving murder, vehicular homicide, robbery, burglary, sexual offenses, stalking, fraud, official misconduct, drug offenses, assault, theft offenses, motor vehicle offenses, weapons offenses and juvenile offenses.
During his career as an Assistant County Prosecutor, Mr. DiGiacomo was an instructor at the Morris County Police and Fire Academy in the areas of the New Jersey Criminal Code and Use of Force for law enforcement officers.
Mr. DiGiacomo received his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of law in 2002. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Fairfield University in 1998.
He is also a current member of the Morris County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
